As a small business sometimes it is difficult to justify or come up with the resources needed to pay for a project – like building a website – upfront. This is why the option of a monthly subscription is perfect to get your website started!

Monthly Option- Same options as the Simple Package, plus:
- Domain – includes 1 non-premium domain (.com, .org, .ca) and yearly renewals
- Hosting – includes hosting on Flywheel

What is NOT included in the Simple Package?
- Domain
- I will use whatever domain you provide
- If you do not have a domain, I can walk you through the process of obtaining one
- Hosting
- I will use your current hosting (if upgrading your website) or help you set up a new hosting account
- I like to use Flywheel to host websites – they are not the cheapest, but they have affordable options and excellent security features
- Branding/Marketing/Logo
- I will use your current branding guidelines if you have them, or pick colors based on your logo or other materials
- Blog/Ecommerce
- These can be added onto the Simple Package
- Linking to payment processors
- PayPal, Stripe, Square, etc. to process payments
- Embedding social media feeds
- Links to social media accounts are included, but showing the feeds (like instagram posts) on the site is not
What is the difference between the Simple Package and the Monthly Option?
The Monthly Option makes it easier and more accessible to get started as it splits the cost of a website into more manageable chunks. You get the same website, but on a “subscription” plan. As an added benefit, the monthly plan includes hosting and, if you don’t already have one, a non-premium domain (.ca, .com, .org).
What do you need from me to build my website?
- The content – you know your business and what you want to communicate
- Some examples: about us, team details/info, services, pricing/rates, contact info
- High resolution photos/images you want on the website
- The best images are actual photos of your business in action. If you do not have access to high quality photos, there is always the option to use stock photos.
- Your logo, preferrably in PNG format with transparent background (SVG/AI/EPS works too if you have them)
- Contact details for forms
- Any external links or embeddable content
- Some examples: hosted booking forms, hosted donation forms, hosted socual media feeds
- 50% down before work begins for the Simple Package, or monthly billing to start once we launch the website
What if there are other features I would like to add to my site?
Here are the one-time setup fees for some common additional features.
- Blog – $150
- Embed Social Media feeds- $50 each
- For example, this allows you to display your Instagram feed on your website
- Connect forms to payment processors – $200
- For example, if you want to collect payments or donations online, this connects the form to Stripe, Square, PayPal, etc.
- E-commerce – $200 and up, depending on the complexity of your online store
- This includes setting up the free WooCommerce plugin and some basic templates and sample products
- Setting up other WooCommerce add-ons, including tax calculations, WooPayments for payment processing, integration with CanadaPost for shipping, and others, may require additional subscriptions and setup costs not included in this price
